School meals/Packed Lunches

Lunch is a learning opportunity to gain and practise social and independence skills.  Your child could bring a packed lunch (which should be in a clearly labelled lunchbox) or have a hot school dinner.

Please do not include any nuts or products containing nuts (e.g. Nutella or any other chocolate spread) in your child’s packed lunch as we have a number of staff and pupil's who have nut allergies.

We recommend that your choices from the varied menu are made on Parent Pay in advance (even if you do not have to pay for school meals).

Cost of school meals

School meals are free for all children in Foundation Stage 2, Year 1 and Year 2.

For children in Years 3 - 6 the cost is £2.45 per day (price as at Jan 2023).

Meals should be paid for on Parent Pay.

Free school meals

Please contact the school office if you think your child may be eligible for Free School Meals.  If your child is eligible but is in FS2, Year 1 or Year 2 please still apply as the school will receive a Pupil Premium, which will benefit parents by assisting with the cost of school trips, residentials, swimming and after school clubs.

School Milk

Up until the age of 5, all pupils are entitled to a free carton of milk each day.  If you would like them to continue to have milk after their 5th birthday, please contact the school office.

Water Bottles

We ask that you send your child to school each day with a bottle of water.  We have water dispensers around the school where they can fill up their bottles throughout the day.  All pupils have access to their water bottle throughout the day to help them stay hydrated.  Please do not send your child in with anything over than water (eg, no juice or fruit juice) in their water bottle.
