Our Curriculum 

 

At Water Leys, we follow the White Rose Scheme of work. 

Year 1 also use Mastering Number to help support their understanding of number. 

 

We are currently learning about: length and height

Resources to Help Support your Child at Home 

  • White Rose Workbooks These free workbooks match with what your child will be learning at school and the questions will be in a format that they should be familiar with.
  • BBC Bitesize BBC Bitesize has lots of helpful guides and quizzes that explore a variety of topics.
  • Numberblocks Numberblocks is a brilliant resource and one that is used as part of your child's mastering number sessions. It is a great way to help children to see and visualise numbers.
