Reading Spine

Here are our reading spines for each year group. 

Each year group has a vehicle text for each half term as part of their writing unit. 

In FS and KS1, they follow themes for reading aloud to children and in KS2 they move on to chapter books. 

Our reading spines are intended to offer children a core bank of texts that ensures they experience a wide range of high-quality texts and authors during their time at school.
