Children in every year group have been running or walking the Weekly Mile. They have been aiming to beat their individual targets. The weekly event has been organised and run by the Sports Leaders (Cameron Smith, Cameron Lee, Rosie Dunphy, Millie Aislabie, Mia-June Robinson, Fletcher Shipley, Evie Barwell and Jordi Black). The children in Key Stage Two are collecting points to win prizes, medals and certificates.

The Year 6 children competed in an Intra-School Kwick Cricket tournament. Well done to ‘Team New Zealand’ for winning the competition (Louis Adam, Harley Baker, Shay Bishop-Mews, Mary Frost, Kezia Rule, Giselle Admire, Luke Bliss, Daniel Ford, Julia Philips and Aisha Tariq).
The Sports Leaders would like to give Sian Armstrong and Tom Wright a special mention for epitomising the ‘Spirit of the Games’. Sian was very respectful towards the leaders and Tom showed great determination. Well done!
Huge well done to all the girls who took part in the netball tournament at South Wigston High School. They played really well and won their group and reached the semi finals.

Huge well done to all the children that took part in the basketball tournament that was held at Wigston Academy on Friday. One of our teams played excellently to come in 3rd place. Everyone was well behaved and played really well!!
